Rockaway, Queens, NY – A Liberian national Eric Goodridge, 55, was found late Saturday tied, gagged and body sexually mutilated in a Rockaway Queens apartment. Goodridge's daughter, Bridget Harris, who is believed to have made the 911 call to police is being sought by police for questioning. “We responded to 436 Beach 69th Street in Rockaway Queens. We discovered a male, black person unconscious on the floor. He was then pronounced DOA (Dead on Arrival),” a police spokesman told FrontPageAfrica early Sunday. Police say Goodrich was found handcuffed with his hands in front of him. It is not clear how Goodrich was killed or if he was mutilated before or after he was killed. FPA has gathered that Goodridge had paid a visit to Harris late Saturday evening, hours before the killing. The landlord of the three-story house, Alan Khan, confirmed that Goodrich did not live in the apartment building, which was rented to Harris, 26. Harris had not been seen for about two weeks until the landlord's mother saw her yesterday morning. She was nowhere to be found yesterday after the body was discovered, Khan said. Police say the 911 call was made at 1pm Saturday afternoon and it appeared that Harris made the 911 call at about 1 p.m. and reported that a man was bleeding. Police is already enforcing a search warrant and are currently searching Harris’ apartment. Detectives spent most of Saturday night and early Sunday morning canvassing the neighborhood and taking down license plates of all the cars on the street. Harris, who works for the Security Administration at JFK International Airport, has been described by neighbors as easy going. “It is very strange. She’s been living here for more than a year and I never heard anything bad about her,” a neighbor was quoted by ABC Eyewitness news Sunday. It is not clear whether Harris is a suspect, but Police are said to be looking for her to shed more light on the incident. Several tenants described Harris as very friendly and very pleasant. "We don't even know who found the body and who called," says Felicia Khan, wife of the landlord of the building. "All they told me was that there was a dead body upstairs." "Right now, I am confused because this is like a surprise to me," said Felicia's husband, Allan. "This is very strange. Coming from her, you know, knowing she has been living here more than eight years now," said Felicia Khan. "I never had a problem with her." Harris, who reportedly rented the apartment, is believed to be the one who called 911 and left the scene after Goodridge's genital was cut off. Meanwhile, FPA has gathered that sexual abuse may have been a factor in the killing. Stay tuned for more developments on this breaking story.

REMARK : Talk about gruesome murder. This is the kind of thing that I usually see on my favorite TV show, "Law & Order : SVU" but reading about it happening to a fellow Liberian is not something I am prepared for. May the soul of Eric Goodridge rest in peace.

Unfortunately, I just heard from a friend that lives in New York that two young ladies (his daughters) were allegedly sexually molested from the ages of 3 and 4, and he recently returned to the U.S. for treatment of some kind.....and these ladies decided to attack when he was most vulnerable and not to his fullest capacity (strength-wise). Also, I was told that the ladies had told family members about the abuse, and social service was alerted years ago. The entire story is sad and sickening on all levels……the parent….the children…..ALL LEVELS!!!

IF its true that he molested his daughters, then it sweet for him. imagine being raped and "tampered with" by the one you look up to for security, for protection. imagine the shame these girls had to live with for years and years. imagine the nightmares.. the mental trauma he put them through. imagien the blame they may have wanted to feel, that maybe they were the cause of the molestation. if its true, he got what he deserved. This sets off a chain of bad relationships. Whether he did or not, alot of these incestual/pedophiles screw up future Liberian families. They molest a daughter who in turn takes out all her anger on an innocent husband,which affects any children they have together and screws up the whole family emotionally. I have yet to understand with all the women out there why would one want to spoil a child or other children.
